Welcome to my blog…
Hi, I’m Steve Quirke - I’m a Mac Wrangler and tech generalist working at Thoughtworks in London.
In recent months I’ve been trying to blog more about some of the stuff I’ve been tinkering with, and the problems I’ve been solving internally at Thoughtworks. Some of those posts are clearly internal only, but other stuff is more general and worth sharing - and this is where I hope to do so.
I don’t just do clean tech. I appear to own a large number of broken elderly cars and motorcycles - some posts may vere away from hi-tech and may be much oilier…
I live in the not very fashionable bit of East London, with my wife, my almost five year old son and a rescue cat.
In my spare time I’m the editor of MZ Rider, the magazine of the MZ Riders Club and I’m learning to play the banjo… (because, well, why not?)
I’m also one of the admins of the London Apple Admins group. If you’re in or around London, don’t be shy - come and meet us at one of our regular events!
